MP Butta Renuka, along with her husband, Neelakantam, has rejoined YSRCP as the ruling party TDP has denied to offer her a ticket to contest for the Lok Sabha elections.
Renuka, who contested and won the Kurnool Lok Sabha constituency in 2014, moved her loyalty to TDP after three years, though her husband has jumped in the same year of her victory. In 2017, Renuka jumped to TDP too after a rendezvous with the head of the party and CM Chandrababu.
Expecting for a Lok Sabha ticket again, Renuka has served the ruling party till recently but quit the party after Kotla Jaya Suryaprakash Reddy has debuted his entry with a ticket to the Kurnool Lok Sabha constituency. However, despite being upset about not getting the Kurnool assembly ticket, she has hoped for the ticket to contest from Adoni Assembly constituency only after they went into ashes after TDP has given the ticket to senior leader Meenakshi Naidu.
Renuka decided to quit the cycle after she hasn’t been provided justice for serving the party. After meeting YSRCP supremo YS Jagan, Renuka decided to make a re-entry to YSR Congress.
