The Election Committee petitioned to stop the release of Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Lakshmi’s NTR’ before the Andhra Elections which will take place on April 11th this year. The urge to stop the movie is because it might ‘influence’ the public, especially voters on the elections in a negative way, says TDP.
Devibabu Choudhary, who petitioned against the movie’s release date has claimed that the movie which is to release on the 22nd of March, right before the elections, is in favor of showing TDP’s leader, Chandrababu Naidu in a negative shade. His petition has led to The EC to forward the case to the state’s chief electoral officer for his consideration and to take the necessary action.
Lakshmi’s NTR, directed by the sensational director Ram Gopal Varma has been controversial for a long time. As known, RGV also stated that regardless of what happens to him, he would make sure that the movie will be released. He also added that the public should know the truth about NTR’s life story. This movie will focus on Ntr’s life after his second marriage with Lakshmi Parvathi.
