Time seems to be ripe for CM Chandrababu Naidu to control his party leaders as their fights and statements are tarnishing party and the government’s clean image.
TDP MP Kesineni Nani fuming upon the state transport officials said that they appear to be sleeping while thousands of private travel busses which are registered in other states are plying in the state, thus causing heavy loss to the state revenue. The transport department officials are misguiding the CM. They failed to take action on my letter, whereas Arunachal Pradesh government promptly reacted. He opined that they are turning blind eye on such private travels because they are corrupted.
Recently, Minister Ayyannapatrudu openly criticized the revenue officials over the Vizag land scam. He said they are indulged in corrupt practices. They join hands with some politicians and indulged in land scams. CM Chandrababu Naidu sharply reacting on the developments ordered a SIT investigation on this land scam.
TDP MP JC Diwakar Reddy’s statement in the very presence of CM Chandrababu Naidu is also very shocking. During a recent meeting held in Ananthapur he said “I don’t think Polavaram Project can be completed in one or two years. Unless some miracle happens or the works will be done with an extraordinary pace, the project can’t be completed in the said time. It may take 4-5 years at least. We, people of Rayalaseema have nothing to do with Amaravati. We don’t need to come there.”
Obviously, these statements of senior leaders of the party are sending wrong signals to the people about the government. They may make the people believe that the government departments are fully corrupted and CM Chandrababu Naidu has no control over them. Hence, it is right time for him to control his leaders or else irrecoverable damage may be occurred to TDP.
