BJP President Amith Shah claims that Centre has given Rs.1.75 lakh crores to Andhra Pradesh during last 3 years for development and welfare programs. He announced this during a meeting held at Vijayawada on Friday.
He narrated about various projects granted to the AP State during last 3 years. He said that his government did so many things that previous Congress Government couldn’t do in last 60 years. He flayed Congress for ruining both Telugu states and the country also during its10 years ruling.
Amith Shah hopes that BJP success journey in AP will begin from Vijayawada in the next elections. He asked the party cadre to work hard and strengthen party from grass root level in the state. He said that PM Modi will be visiting AP in July. Hence, he asked the party cadre to be prepared to welcome him in a big way.
Amith Shah’s statement of giving Rs.1 lakh cores to Telangana ignited sparks in that state. Now, it may be AP political parties turn to react on it. The question is whether TDP will condemn his claims or keep mum to avoid flare-up with the BJP, with which it wants to continue alliance in the next elections also.
